Hi There….
In January 2007, Eric Finney asked me to join Kartland Racing as a 4th driver. With no karting experience but a love of motor racing I jumped at the chance and my first race was at Orange in March 2007, to say I was unprepared is an understatement. I had ‘no idea’ but I knew I would be back.
For numerous reasons that was my only drive for Kartland Racing. In October 2007 Eric purchased the kart from Kartland Racing and asked me to join him as a co-owner. My next race was at Newcastle in November 2007, the result was a little better than my first race but not much, so it was off to the local Canberra track for much needed driving practice and learning more about kart set-up and handling.
2008 we started Team Canberra and the rest as they say is history.
Gotta love motor racing!
